Some levels of Infinite Dungeon can have different types of maps. It can be trollmire-like, lake-nur-like, and maze-like for example.
It would add some fresh air. And it also make sense lorewise. Because the deceitful god must be really good at altering the forms of phenomena.

It always struck me as odd that the ID was just a neverending dungeon. Pretty bland after a couple dozen floors, I'm sure.
Adding some variety to it could be good. And I doubt it would differ much mechanically than a farportal generation. A random map, layout, and a host of enemies that have no need to fit there.
It'd certainly make it easier to look at.
