Wow, this was probably the easiest character I've been able to get rolling. Vital Shot seems a bit underrated judging from the Chronomancer spoilers forum. But holy crap I could shoot for 2500 damage sometimes. I just imagine some of the lesser monsters disappearing from the timeline with a wimpy little *pop*.
I unlocked Oozemancer on this run, but tried to fight him way too early. His slimy minions kicked my ass the first time at around level 32. Went back after level 42 with Draconic Will as my second prodigy and buffed up Echoes from the Past and it was too easy.
Second and third deaths were in a stupid vault in the Vor Pride. I hadn't realized that Banish works in the vaults.
Fourth death was from something in High Peak that I fled from in terror the second time around.
Fifth death was post-win trying to Atamathon. Yikes! But yay, one life remaining. Not exactly hard-core or rogue-like, but I didn't use my Elixir of Invincibility or Blood of Life either.
End bosses were hilarious because a space-time anomaly threw me, Aeryn, and one of the mages into a far corner. The other mage shut down his AI so that the nice lady and I hacked away in pleasant solitude!
I like how slow the Temporal Warden plays. VERY powerful but it requires a lot of deliberate thought.
Well, 1.0.4 came out about 18 hours after my first win. So darkgod should arrive soon to erase my joyful victory from the records!

I'm assuming you were already combining it with the 'Erase from timeline' spell where you get to dump all your abilities on a target, and if it dies during the effect, time reverts, enemy dies, and you get all your cooldowns/resources back? (I forget the spells name.)rayultine wrote:Normal mode

EDIT: Cease to Exist, that's the one.
Safe bet what your next character is. Hint: It's even more powerful, and a walking source of snot and slime.I unlocked Oozemancer on this run, but tried to fight him way too early. I envy your fun threesome. If only my wins could've been so easy.End bosses were hilarious because a space-time anomaly threw me, Aeryn, and one of the mages into a far corner. The other mage shut down his AI so that the nice lady and I hacked away in pleasant solitude!
We can only hope!!!!! I can't wait to get me my new archer trees!Well, 1.0.4 came out about 18 hours after my first win. So darkgod should arrive soon to erase my joyful victory from the records!

Nah, only Paradox Mage has "Cease to Exist", but that would indeed be an incredible combo.Crim, The Red Thunder wrote: I'm assuming you were already combining it with the 'Erase from timeline' spell where you get to dump all your abilities on a target, and if it dies during the effect, time reverts, enemy dies, and you get all your cooldowns/resources back? I just am referring to the fact that occasionally there would be no "hit" animation to my arrow, and it seemed like I just erased the monster with my overkilling shot!

I thought it was locked for time wardens. Shows what I know.
