Buff dominant will

#1 Post by Strongpoint »

Yeek's first racial talent is... awful. Talent that doesn't work on bosses, rares, elites, pesky ranged users that shot you from a far and main population of many dungeons (undeads) is of very dubious usefulness because other opponents can be killed without it

Even against critters it is far from reliable....

Instakilling one monster and getting one meatshield (and that if you are lucky enough) in a big combat is nothing comparing to +crit chance, + speed, +damage, + resistance.

Even if yeeks are meant to be a challenge race, their first racial should be somewhat useful in tough 1 on 1 fights...

One thing that would be nice if dominant will could have partial effect depending on degree of success\failure like brainlock>confusion>slumber>total domination with only
total total domination blocked for elites

Ability to Brainlock\confuse\slumber a boss for turn or two is at least something.

Could make it five turn Confusion with scaling power based on the talent level, on the things it doesn't Dominate due to ranks.

(Say, 25%+Raw Talent power.)

Instant shot of confusion's not bad at all.

Wait. It doesn't work on undead?

Please excuse me while I slap myself in the face.

Also, it doesn't work on rares or elites? Damn. Does it work on uniques? Does it say this in the description or am I just a fool?

Better make it guaranteed brainlock. There are already a lot of confusion sources in game.
