[1.0.4] Golems and Arena don't mix

1) In Derth, switch Control to your Golem
2) Talk to the Arena master; accept his offer
3) Arena master will vanish, you'll see red words on bottom 'Can not leave zone with this character'
4) No Arena.

5) Try to leave Derth

Result: ToME locks up on level change. Tried killing t-engine and restarting; won't load.

It would be nice if I could get my save file fixed
