[1.0.1]Digging wall next to demon invasion portal removes it

I used pulverising auger to remove the wall next to a demon invasion portal, which removed it's graphic. Demons kept spawning, but I could not enter or destroy it anymore.

Oddly enough, the same thing happens if the portal is next to a door. I had a naga invasion portal spawn next to a door in the Rak'Shor Pride, and when I teleported inside the building whose door was next to it to rest up for another assault, I left via the door, only to find the portal disappear when I opened it.
