[b41] Screen blurring never ended after confusion effect

Ok, I have a problem. My character got confused by one of those floating head horrors that summon your clones, and after the fight was over and confusion effect ended, the screen blurring remained.

Tried rebooting, no help. The only work-around I've found is to play with OpenGL Effects turned off, and that already cost me one life because I had gotten so reliant on the "screen reddening" effect of low health.

Does anybody know how to fix this, through editing the save file perhaps?

Same deal. Lost like 4 chars to these stupid bugs. Guess he wants us to cheat and make savefile copies before Dreadfell, cuz that place is one big bug. The undead bulwark miniboss - his skills put game into infinite loop. Confussion gets stuck even when you die. Autocast doesnt work if you get stuck in the blurr of confussion. Etc. Real cool to lose 2day 0 death char to typoes in lua. Read a lua book or smthn. :/

Same here. And it really sticks as turning off OpenGL Effects and then on again (after starting again) doesn't fix it.

Ditto. In addition, I've had a couple deaths where the screen tinted red when I was killed and refused to un-tint. Not a gamebreaker necessarily, but aggravating and essentially makes the character too unpleasant to keep playing.
