[b37] No fortress shadow in Sher'Tul

After killing the Sandworm Queen with my level 20 ghoul necromancer I got the message from the fortress shadow, asking me to come back as soon as possible and saying it felt there was some kind of disturbance. When I used the rod of recall to teleport back to the fortress, however, the butler was nowhere to be seen, and the door to the farportal room was sealed. I tried leaving the fortress and coming back by travelling on the world map, but the shadow was still missing. I searched through the bug posts, but I saw no mention of this one. If it was already pointed out, sorry

Did at any point your game crash or you force killed it ?

No, nothing like that. Browsing through the bug posts, however, I found it had already been signalled:

It seems to be associated with the Rod of Recall, and maybe with the Sandworm Lair too

I had a similar problem in b37 after returning from the Temporal Rift. I had already opened the Far Portal room and asked Melinda to move in. She's still there but the butler is gone. Current energy level is at 168. I wonder what will happen when I reach the next threshold in energy level. Will I be able to get the fortress to full power without the butler?
