Cyro & Pyromancer Progress

#1 Post by overgoat »

For the cryomancer and pyromancer unlocks do the fire and cold damage save in your profile on a local machine? I play on several different machines and I'm afraid my progress is being split three ways.

Is there a file I can check and see how far along I am? These are my last two unlocks am I'm itching to finally get them! ;)

If you use an online profile then whenever you log in it automatically syncs with whatever machine you're using, but as for offline only...no idea sorry dude.

I'm pretty sure the Cryo/Pyro progress is machine-dependent. I think this is also true of the Reaver unlock.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

There should be a directory named .t-engine and in that under 4.0/tome/save/ the file world.teaw. That's with linux, but I presume under windows it's quite similar. world.teaw is a zip archive, inside there's a text file called main. That records your achievements, search it for CRYOMANCER and PYROMANCER to check your progress. If you copy (one of) your .t-engine directory between machines before playing, you can keep your games synced without needing to be online.
Ghoul never existed, this never happened!

Perfect! Thanks, Jotwebe. That is exactly what I was looking for.

I am very close on fire, but I think it is time to start leveling a necro for some cold damage...

Or, of course, you could check in-game by opening the achievements menu...

I actually tend to think the quickest way to the cryo unlock is playing an alchemist. Maxed bombs with ice infusion does crazy cold damage...
