Get Transmogrification chest in new version from old chars?

Didn't really realize I'd loose the savegames when I updates. Is there A way to at least get the Transmogrification chest
(new feature: "Once the transmogrification chest has been found once, all new characters will start with it from birth")
?

Old / pre-update chars had it, don't know why that has not been activated

It needs to be obtained with a character in this beta for future characters to obtain it at birth.

At least hopefully this will count as an unlockable birth option, from now on, and therefore it will carry over to the next betas?
