Hiho, I just downloaded beta34 for win and tried to launch it. First time it seemed to work well but the window size was off, after adjusting it it reloaded, I minimalized it for a moment and then noticed the process has terminated and Tome engine deleted itself (just the exe) from it's directory
I removed the rest and unpacked it again, this time it didn't even load fully before disappearing.. no errors, crash dumps or anything, just clean ending process and disappearance of .exe

Norton Internet Security deleted the Tome 4 beta 34 .exe file the first time I ran it, claiming it was a HIGH RISK program. I then had to dig it out from Quarantine and accept this will not be scanned in the future, in order to play it. Something needs to be done about this, *Seriously*.

Have you sent any e-mails to Norton specifying that the quarantined/deleted program is not a high risk program? Also there should be some kind of exemption list for their little search and destroy routines.

The reason is probably because of the way everything is zipped now. I believe that many viruses zip up things they execute in order to hide them from AV programs, so when ToME attempts to unzip and execute lua scripts, some AV programs will see that as suspicious activity and set off red lights.

Also you might try Avast, I use the free version and prefer it over Norton or AVG by far.
