Tannen's quest can be broken

I was forgetful and did something VERY stupid. After getting back to the West, I forgot about Last Hope and Tannen, so I just did the backup guardians, and to go back, I just visited Reknor, fought the backup boss, and used the orb.

When I was in the east again....to go west I gave *AGAIN* the athame and diamond to the Sunwall guy.

Then I went in Last Hope, and talked to Tannen..and I ended giving him my Orb of Many Ways.,,

And it was then that I realized that I could not give him another athame and diamond.

So I'm stuck in the west.

While what I did was very silly, it probably shouldn't be possible.
