Grand Corruptor killed by worms

I was wandering around the spellblaze fighting the normal Es and ps and then all of a sudden I get the question asking whether I want to side with the Grand Corruptor. I declined (I hate blood mages) and kept wandering around. In the far top corner I found a pile of loot near a bunch of the worms which die win acid clouds, which includes an artifact staff. The Grand Corruptor is nowhere to be seen so I can only assume this is his stuff and he died.

I had noticed the Es and ps fighting against eachother earlier, and looking at the log it it looks like I have the worms to thank
