The antimagic arena event is either drastically overtuned in difficulty, or the entry level that it allows you to take it at should probably be adjusted.
Just the very nature of the way that it's set up - continuous fights against new creatures with no rest time and an undetermined number of rounds - is quite hard, but what pushes it over the edge is that in my last game, when I took the quest at level 15, the sixth or so opponent was a level 39 orc corrupter.
I shudder to think what would have followed that.
If it's not a bug that the opponents scale up to twenty five levels higher than when you can take the quest, the quest text should probably warn the player, rather than have it as a random deathtrap.
[b31] Antimagic overtuned or quest entry too low ?

The corrupter is the last creature to face, and is toned down from a real corruptor

He still shouldn't have got a level 39 orc corruptor, toned down or not....
Re: [b31] Antimagic overtuned or quest entry too low ?
Yeah, level 39 is pretty high. I wonder if it's the same thing that's causing over leveling in the Ritch tunnels.
