[b28] weird bug in sandworm lair - no queen?

Hello,

I have a small problem with sandworm lair. The queen kicked my ass and i had to use rod of recall in order to escape. When I returned later, the queen disappeared. The dungeon claims that the area has been cleared already, but quest log says that the quest is still active.

How can I fix the problem?

What do you mean by the dungeons claims the area has been cleared already? I wasn't aware that dungeons could talk ;)

Have you tried zapping a wand of detection somewhere on the last level? She could be off in a corner somewhere. Ultimately though you don't need to kill her to progress with the main game.
