After casting Static History I would like to see the same line with the failure chance that Spacetime Tuning gives.
Simply because I don't use Spacetime Tuning after I get Static History to tlvl3...
Perhaps it would only show this info after a certain tlvl or something, but the extra info would certainly be helpful...

Paradox Mage / Static History suggestion
If there is such a thing as Heaven and Hell then I'm royally screwed...
Re: Paradox Mage / Static History suggestion
I see Spacetime Tuning as a relaxed and almost meditative thing, it takes turns to do and puts the caster in touch with the spacetime continuum. It also is mostly used outside of combat.
Static History is your in combat mana pool in a lot of ways. It's quick, taking only one turn to use, and can restore a lot of paradox at high levels.
So while I realize the desire to make faiure rates more transparent this wouldn't be the way to do it and as long as equilebrium failure rates are not transparent I'm happy with how transparent paradox failure rates currently are.
In other words, I think the current system is fine as it is and fits the precedent set by equilebrium. Spacetime Tuning teaches the player what to expect and the combat log messages when you cross thresholds lets you know when you should be paying attention to your paradox level. If more transparency eventually gets added to equilebrium then I'll add more to Paradox, most likely through a mouseover on the paradox resource which would let the player find their exact failure rates whenever they liked (in which case spacetime tuning would lose it's combat log spam).
Sorry for my terrible spelling. I'm on vacation and this browser doesn't have spell check.

Re: Paradox Mage / Static History suggestion
if it is intended behavior so be it.
btw, thx for making such a fun class to play, some of the failures really make me go OMGWTFBBQ, not to mention the big list of talents with very varied abilities

Re: Paradox Mage / Static History suggestion
I think it'd be nice if hovering your mouse over your paradox resource would let you know your current failure chance.
