Discovery of Pure Joy

#1 Post by losludvig »

I played a lot of tome2, though I never got even near winning. Was rather excited about tome3, and liked a lot of the changes, but got a bit bored and stopped playing a year ago.
Was bored today and clicked a RL related bookmark I had from way back. This made me want to play a RL again, so I went to roguebasin. To my big surprise I saw ToME4 under recent releases. PURE AWESOME!

Thanks for creating what looks like a very awesome and even newbie friendly (if such thing is even possible) roguelike. The simplifying of shortcuts/macros and trimming of keys required to play the game is a massive step forwards, and I must say that the mechanics make me filled with joy.

'Nuff talk - tome4 needs playing

Yeah I still play tome 2... I haven't posted on this site in a long time, but I have also discovered tome 4 recently and have been dwelling in it's "Awesomeness"...

For a while there I wasn't sure what was going on with tome 3, but figured that it was dead, in a way I was right. It was a real surprise to find the fourth installment of this legendary game...

I truly hope that development on it goes as planed and that we will one day see a fully complete "Final" version of this wonderful time killer...

I want to give my thanks and appreciation to "Darkgod, Lord of Arda", whomever you may be...
