I posted in those threads. This is probably the case for the first one, but I'm not sure about the second. For anyone else who has the problem of the screen not scaling properly:

If you are using Windows font scaling at anything other than 100%, you need to right-click on the ToME exe file, click 'properties', go to the compatibility tab and check 'disable display scaling on high DPI settings'.
