Spacial Prism takes a turn to active but hits instantly.

Anyway pending some brief testing I'll put up an as-is version. Really shoulda done this ages ago but I wanted to get all the changes is. This version will only include the number rebalancing and spatial prism change.

EDIT: Though due to the spatial prism change it needs new particles. While it was fairly obvious when it took time to cast, it needs particles to give proper feedback to the user.

I think I'm going to delay this til tomorrow and not rush it too much. Mark my words though.

thanks for updating your class. BTW good news is i almost have my water-cooled gaming rig up in running just need to dry the cords to the power supply to reduce risk another dead power supply. Thanks for the change to the prism. I'll test it when I finished fixing all the remaining issues on my rig that I'm building. Rig's got 5 ssd's and 4 server-class harddrives in raid 10 array + 3 watercooled 290x's. Got one loop cooling a Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor with it hitting 4.25 gb.

Could you explain how I'm supposed to use Diffraction Pulse? Every time I've tried to use it, it seems like nothing has happened.

You need to cast it where it the projectile will likely hit near the more you rank it the more it seems to affect the area around the cast location. (it makes the projectile go in the reverse direction).

It should hit any projectile in the area of the effect, when you cast it. There is no delay to it. I might have inadvertently bugged it but during my brief testing of it it successfully worked for me.

its takes a turn to be used so it doesn't always manage to reflect the missiles.

It does not. It casts immediately and does not take any time to deflect the projectile. Once it completes casting (as every single other talent in the entire game) you cannot act for a turn.

And I've just tested it and found it to work exactly as expected without fail.

...Um. There's a number of talents that you can act after using o.o Instant cast talents don't prevent you from acting for a turn.

I am aware of that but I didn't think someone would be anal enough to need me to specify it.

Are there any plans for the spells to get some sort of sound effect when they are cast?

Hmm, given that the latest release of this that I see on the ToME addon site is named Light and Sound or something, should I be expecting sound effects? The Light Orb and Dark Orb spells you start with both do not have any.
