Even without it, i gave the golem al the elemental damage and spellcraft boosts I had to spare, and it does 300-700 damage with its eyebeams at endgame. Not huge but if i could get him to do the eyebeams more reliably it'd be worthwhile.
Failed saving throw against terrible idea and opened the wrong door. Again.
