some updates on ideas for this class
from Hellcommander:
maybe class is more like cursed horror of person
more generics around place "Cast-Iron Stomach" as forth talent or remove uninteresting talent hmm or maybe combine all three of the new talent ideas into it hmm...
move "Open Mind" as to the front since its very important of a skill for the class
second skill should be "Endure Starvation"
third should be "Devouring Enthusiasm"
add these on class tree and make all 3 require taking 3 from the tree
Famishing Hunger- give Famish the ability to grant some of the resources that are drained by the skill
Mouth Watering Hunger- increase the range of Salivate a little grant chance to teleport to enemy location on kill (and maybe teleport back to location) and consume even if devour is not used on it to kill and maybe passively increase range
Whet Appetite - make it so that Whet appetite works on 1 to 2 sustains at talent level 3,5 and maybe have grant you some resources (lower equilibrium by 25, lower paradox 25, 2 souls?, 25 air, 25 percent mana, 25 percent vim or 25 vim?, 25 percent stamina, 25 steam, 25 psi?, 25 positive energy, 25 negative energy, 25 hate, feedback 25, 25 health) (maybe just heal some health) maybe for each buff consumed

Consume Artifact:
have max cap that you can use based on
make work on random artifects, give a temp high power boast, boast max resources and restore fully mana and , stamina, steam, set equilibrium to 0 (antimagic), steam , psi
- For devouring a arcane artifacts could you grant it the ability to grant you a permanent 0.02x tier level mana regen that caps at 1 or maybe 2 a turn for this type. cap at 2.5 grant max mana increase of up to 100? you can get 5 mana regen from orcs mana coil so not to out of place
- For devouring a technique artifacts could you grant it the ability to grant you a permanent 0.01x tier level stamina regen that caps at 0.5 or maybe 1 a turn from this type. cap at 1.5 grant max stamana increase of 50?
- For devouring a psionic artifacts could you grant it the ability to grant you a permanent 0.01x tier level Psi regen that caps at 0.25 or maybe 0.5 a turn from this type. .5 a turn increase max psi up to 100?
make steam artifects grant steam power to 45? and increase max steam by 25 at rank 5 raw
prevent from consuming unknown artifects since they might be to strong a source of power
for antimagic grant permanent equibrium on hit and nature resist cap max of 5?
- Maybe remove all the power increases from consuming these items or maybe limit the max it can increase your power to something like 10.

Looks like some neat additions :) Unfortunately, I get a lua error whenever I mouseover the second talent in the Feast category:

disabled change to feast til i fix it and get it granting some resources based on the number of buffs consumed.

note i couldnt get the hook working for the new effect so a temp buff for devouring steam stuff might not work yet (anyone is welcome to help me with this addon i'm not all that great with coding of any sort.

Fun mod! But is it possible to put the "Digesting [blank]" prompt as a buff rather than a debuff? When someone wants to autoexplore, the game will wait until all debuffs are over, meaning that you'll end up with a high Hunger the moment you start moving.

Changed the effect to act as a buff instead of a debuff in my glutton additions addon (lost a lot of notes for the planned changes to it might be quite a while before I do more tweaks to the addon)

well any changes I make will be done via my addon so it does require you download glutton mod and I can only change certain things (as far as I'm aware the superload stuff can not be edited in a mod for a mod)

The Addon Mod didn't really work for me. Seems to not actually get the enemies talents. Possibly because i'm playing 1.6b3.

ya last time I tried the addon it didn't work with the recent changes for some reason (and glutton mod without the addon for it has its own issues) might be a while before i patch up my addon for it (darkgod still hasn;t fixed the more then 97 file in addon folder black screen bug so that has been making less interesting i expanding the game with new addons (my steam based class is still on pause (luckly I uploaded most of the content for it pasted into a post since I lost the original source for it and still haven't fixed the ratlich race mod (which the only source left for it is my post for it again).
