well, i got 2 items each giving 20 str each, then the prodigy for another 40, and 60 from levelups, and then some extra spread out on the rest of my gear. Im actually at 190 str, which makes 213 with heroism on.

I pretty much facetanked everything in the game, even lasted 5 turns before i had to run from the overpowered wyrms. With a single wild infusion or wrath active, i can keep all my resistances more or less capped, with "all" resist around 70%, and i can keep wild/wrath up for 32 consecutive turns atm, then a 3 turn gap till wild comes back up. Also remember you can stack wild and wrath, so you can be pretty much invulnerable for at least 5 turns, i got 97% "All" resist, as well as all individuals capped, with both on. edit: thats with the pearl of life an death, so make that 90%

I have not gotten any strength buffs like that. Are you on normal?

And christ you have a better load out. The only thing I've got equal is Summertide, and I do have better gloves. (Sludgegrip? Really?)

And died at High Peak to a unique Bone Giant. :(

Then again, I never made it back to the West before, and only made it the East once before this, so props for a great guide. And really, if I hadn't suicided three freaking times against that OP as hell mummy rare at level 20...

Just wanted to say that I tried a build on Nightmare Roguelike. I made it to High Peak, and died to a stair guardian instead of just running past stupidly. :( I definitely started feeling pretty weak lvl 41, but I got the Chromatic Harness and I Can Carry The World at lvl 42, and from then on felt really powerful. I think I could have taken the sorcerers. Thanks for the cool guide.

So how do you all get to such high level? I finally made it to the slime cave, on my last life, but i'm only lv 37.

Which race did you pick? Some of them have pretty high exp penalties.
It might just be that you are tackling the content too early and skipping too many zones.

It should all be logged in your account, but if you play without an account, then yeh that really sucks. You should consider using the addon that unlocks all classes and races, if you care enough :)
If you do use an account, then you can find your characters by going to te4.org, then logging in on the right hand side of the page, and clicking "my characters", then finding your characters page and just copying the url :)

Anyway now that i think about it, you are most definitely going to the slime tunnels too soon, you must have missed some content. This is the typical order in which i do the content before the slime tunnels, and i always go there at around 44-46:
1. All of the starter continent zones
2. Vor armory excluding the overpowered drakes, then briaghs lair
3. Return west and do all the alternate bosses (im thinking you may have missed this?)
4. Return east and do all the prides as well as the overpowered drake room
5. Slime tunnels and onwards

and always do the charred scar as soon as it pops :)

You don't actually have to do Eruan/Charred Scar right away. The timer for finishing it only starts once you actually enter the zone, so you can really do it whenever you want. I usually do it after the first couple prides.

I'm playing this build on Normal (Roguelike) part time and it's going pretty well. Currently around level 20. It has very good AoE, but I'm curious to see how the damage will scale at endgame. I think it might be wise to wield a 1-hander or mindstar with all elemental resists penetration in the late game, along with a shield. The ego for 1-handers is arcane, so you'd need to use the mindstar if you go antimagic (which I decided to do for the hell of it). Alternately, there's a unique mindstar that increases mastery for all the dragon aspects.

I def missed the alternate bosses. I've gone back before on other characters but never saw them. I have a steam account and a regular one. So how do you find the alt ones?

Ah yeah, Effigy is correct, i dunno how i got it into my head that you need to do the charred scar as soon as it spawns :)
The alternate bosses always spawn on specific levels of the dungeons, here is a list of them and where they spawn http://te4.org/wiki/Backup_Guardians
sometimes it can take awhile to locate them, Aluin could be standing in a corner behind some trees for instance, if you have trouble finding one of them, try using some spell for vision og tracking.

How much of an impact did being Thaloren have on the build? Thalore have great racials, but I personally can't stand their high exp penalty.
