New starting menu: opinion

A random "arena" of sorts with various possible player incarnations flinging nearly every spell in the game at each other in a battle royale---pretty much a colorful lightshow of destruction . . .

This sounds like a great idea, given the many wonderful spell effects in the game (and many that I have not been able to see yet!) It would be a nice way to generate some interest in trying new classes, and struggling to unlock others! Having varying zones in the background intro menu would be nice to see, because the Trollshaws are starting to wear on me a bit!

#2 looks better in my eyes, allows to focus on the UI a little more while still adding to the whole feel. Some people were saying a static background would be a good idea. I agree to that and considering my boredom Im working on a design right now =]

When looking for the stock photo I was only looking at photos with full free rights, so yes they are.
