I would say near 85%. There's still a few interface issues such as when you change the category of items while selling/buying they revert back to the default sort order among other things. Balance I would say is pretty close to as good as it'll get without a full release. Unimportant things (my opinion) such as music and graphics can always be added after a full release. It feels like a finished story. Perhaps finishing what is already coded and sitting there (Tempest YES... I'll have to come up with Storm talents...) is about the only thing I can think of immediately. Over all, just a bit more spit and polish, clean up a couple of bugs and I would say you are very well close to your IIRC wanted full release in mid December. Hell, if you stay as fast with fixing and coding, you'll probably release mid November/early December. That is though, just to the best of my knowledge.

I think for a non-beta you need to concentrate on a feature-locked version and purge it of all bugs. You also need to give good thought to save file compatibility. Otherwise in terms of actual content and gameplay I'd say it's pretty solid as is.

Yep, pretty much comes down to tackling any classic bugs, a UI that is pretty well utterly done UNTIL new game features and such manifest that'll need doings, and hitting all the Alignment/Unique approaches stuff that was mentioned before in terms of Quests and other such thing----that is to say all flavour and personality should be there, essentially, and tasty outright....becoming ever more delicious and varied.

I would say a full graphical tileset after an eventual freeze in monsters/stuff/etc is another big thing to shoot for in terms of Going Gold. Even in this "niche" if you add up a mass of little features and boons it will come to be as significant as a major feature same as in anything else---all angles of attack have the chance for a better sum of the parts on the whole.
