I think there's much potential in this notion of a dashing, self-aware class---I could see interesting times ahead with the likes of, let's say, "Plot Armor", "Deus Ex Machina", and "Macguffin" Skill trees! Seriously---a tongue-in-cheek character having to survive in a hardcore setting such as ToME 4 would certainly provide an interesting experience.
