Re: The unlockables
Never mind, found him. He was in a blue river though, by my sights.

Re: The unlockables
He seems to be located in a random location around the area. It changes per character.
Edit: Is there a good time to go to the bottom of the sandworm lair? At what level should you be safe-ish in doing it?

Re: The unlockables
That really depends on your class and playstyle really... though atm I cant really say, I am just having fun power levelingJaorin wrote:Edit: Is there a good time to go to the bottom of the sandworm lair? At what level should you be safe-ish in doing it?

I think about 12-14 would be fine though.

Re: The unlockables
Two questions. Where's a good place to power level at around 7? Does anyone know where to find ghouls?
Edit: It looks like Tol Falas has ghouls.

Re: The unlockables
I just power level in the old forest, just staying on the top level and all that, the monsters there are easy compared to the rest of the upper level places.

Re: The unlockables
I used the old forest advice and it was very good.
Anyone unlocked ghouls yet? I've tried dying to them a few times but it doesn't seem to do anything. I wonder if it's on a percent chance or something.

Re: The unlockables
Yeah, I've unlocked 'em. Spamming first level characters that, whatsit, the tol something or other? Place to the south, by the water, has lots of undead. Whatever. Just tossed characters at it until a ghoul killed 'em and managed to unlock the race. It did take more than one death, so it's probably percentile based.
Wasn't terribly impressed, though; con's generally less useful than dex is, or so it's been for me, so skeletons tend to get my preference. Both are kinda' 'meh' talent wise, unfortunately, except for that stat boost.

Re: The unlockables
hehehe, you can blame me for suggesting a percentile death to unlock them

I'll have to keep trying then. I kind of like that I use the name "lemming" for the characters that have been trying to do this.
Edit: Is the wyrmic any good? I've failed a few times in the sandworm lair and haven't gotten it yet.

Worth unlocking and having a look!Jaorin wrote:Edit: Is the wyrmic any good? I've failed a few times in the sandworm lair and haven't gotten it yet.
It is a very different way of looking at things that summon!

Re: The unlockables
Does it specifically have to be a "ghoul" monster in order to unlock it or any "z"-type monster? I'm still trying to unlock them.

Re: The unlockables
Fairly sure it's any of the ghoul-types; that is, the ones with ghoul in the name. There's at least three. Dunno 'bout 'z' specifically (Dunnit mummies run off that, too?), but I unlocked mine off the big-dog ghoul critter, not the two lesser versions.
Re: The unlockables
Dying to an undead can unlock that undead race. Your odds are the undead's rank** + the undead's level/2.
**: Rank is like master, elite, boss etc. These can up your odds significantly.
The only 2 undead races available (this way) is Skeletons and Ghouls.
In the Lua there is Vampires and Wights, but they don't unlock by dying to them. I don't think they unlock, they are probably only there to generate NPCs.

Thanks for the info Canderel! I'll keep trying. I just unlocked the wyrmic class (finally). It should be interesting to take them out for a spin.
Edit: I am very underwhelmed by the wyrmic class. I just unlocked ghouls! They look pretty good, especially for melee characters with their stun resistance.
Re: The unlockables
I started to play tome4 and managed to get "summoner" and "that_was_close achievement". Unfortunately I wasn't playing at home.. I copied the saves, but it looks like I didn't copy some hidden stuff?
What I have to do/add (without playing
to get the achievements back?
