Nastiest OOD monsters you've seen (beta8)

lvl 26 Master Vampire on Trollshaws(2). Arda became more dangerous without Sauron it seems )

Well, I found a Master Vampire on the FIRST level of Trollshaws

I ran into a master vampire and a vampire lord on the second level of Trollshaws. My first thought was oh sh**. My second was laughter as I noticed both were sparkling. I guess I can thank my Twilight loving gf for bringing that thought to my mind. I raced back down to the stairs. The vampire was able to suck life out of my golem, not sure how what happened. I went back down and met a Xorn who chased me into a dead end. I had 2 unknown scrolls. One happened to be phase door. It put me right back on the stairs as about 5 new creatures came at me, all with 100+ HPs. This was my first game with version 8. From playing beta 7, I thought this Tome 4 was a bit easier on players than than Tome2, but version 8 reminds me of how easily the RNG can toy with you and screw everything up. I went back up the stairs at least wanting to die to something cool. Both vampires were gone. The RNG giveth and the RNG taketh away.

I would say an orc high pyromancer on the old forest lvl2.

Level 20 elite Troll Thunderer on Trollshaws(1). Turned and ran, but his thunderstorm appears to have a fair bit of range.

Have run into a fair number of level 12-14 Huorns on Trollshaws(1) as well but as long as they're alone they're usually manageable even with a new level 1 (but if they've got, say a forest troll and a couple wolves with them, as with my current character, then you're usually toast like my current character). Have also run into a fair number of fire wyrm Uruk hai plus escorts. Freaked me out the first time, but then I realized they were only level 2 or 3 and good xp.

Edit - Level 27 Orc Blood Mage on Amon Sul(1)... and killed it! The fact that I even tried is probably why my characters keep dying early.

New worst. Level 23 Master Vampire on Trollshaws(1). Conveniently, my character was level 13 and on his way back from hammering Bill (did Old forest first) and was really just pleased to see a source of xp.

My archer was pretty disgusted to see a ghoul king and his friends on level one of the old forest recently.

Level26 Elite Elder Vampire on Trollshaws(5). Vampires seem to like the Trollshaws for some reason.

Found a forest wight in the old forest floor 6. What's a forest wight doing in a forest?

Its more ironic than anything, really.

Hmm well recently got that lvl20 unique warg on lvl1 of trollshaw, and just now a major demon in the old forest.
