A monster rises from the Grave

Hi,
I'm in the paths of the dead for the first time ever (cruising so far, swordmaster clev 46 - my best so far). Noticed a message:
"A monster rises from the Grave"
But nothing around for me to notice. What is this all about?

Also, after the Barrow downs and Mirkwood, where is the next place to go to get Princess and FF quests?

After Mirkwood comes Mordor. It's east-southeast of Minas Anor.
