Reckon I found out about getting stuck in the stone!
Only when going up ?

Did any of you try the sandworm lair yet ?

Tried the Sandworm layer...

Aha! getting stuck in stone is indeed an interesting experience.

Don't seem to be able to kill some of the creatures - I batter away doing loads of damage and don't get a kill message.

Also the Sandworm Lair is a good place for Mages to die - lots!!!

Yes good for mages ;)

Now for killing monsters there is a kind taht wont attack you and that has tons of HP (you can mouse over to get a tooltip remember ? ;).
They should not be killed .. if you understand how the place works :)

They are not aggressive unless you stand on their way.

I wasn't going to stay and find out. That is sort of like running into Ancalagon, and I was a level 5 mage at the time.

Grumble. I got my mage through Amon Sul and the Old Forest and was on my way back up when the game hung going up a level. It sits and tries to generate the next level up and nothing happens. Am I just going up too fast?

You have the level generator crash. I suggest you try and load the save game... expect some funny goings on and I am not sure whether it will work (it did not for me!) but YMMV!

DG has apparently fixed the crash so that is something to look forward to!
