Why not make the wearing of light armour a Talent as well?

Not yet, ideas welcome
[/quote]

* Harfoots: The Harfoots were the most numerous group of Hobbits and also the first to enter Eriador. They were the smallest in stature of all hobbits.
* Fallohides: The Fallohides were the least numerous group and the second group to enter Eriador. They were generally fair haired and tall (for hobbits). They were often found leading other clans of hobbits as they were more adventurous than the other races. They preferred the forests and had links with the Elves.
* Stoors: The Stoors were the second most numerous group of Hobbits and the last to enter Eriador. They were broader than other hobbits. They mostly dwelt beside rivers and were the only hobbits to use boats and swim. Males were able to grow beards.

Make Harfoots the most dextrous...
Make Fallohides the strongest...
Make Stoors the healthiest!

Seemed to me that anybody can understand how to put and move in a leather jacket, but not all can do the same with a full plate, no ?

There are all sorts of leather armour, not all are easy to move in.

It was just a thought...

I am getting very long pauses when resting.

The keyboard is not being sensed enough when resting, very often I can do the Follwing:

rest,
hit a key
...
...
... (wait a long time)
Finish resting
If the key was a real action then I do whatever the key press was.

oh and "indentify" at lvl 3 should also work on equipment...

and it would be nice if your inventory didnt jump around like it does now (things of the same type)

and make scroll of enemies detection work like level 1 or 2 sense (or whatever it is named now), right now there is a bug

Code: Select all

Lua Error: /data/general/objects/scrolls.lua:86: attempt to call method 'detect' (a nil value)
	At [C]:-1 detect
	At /data/general/objects/scrolls.lua:86 use
	At /engine/interface/ObjectActivable.lua:41
	At (tail call):-1
	At /mod/class/Player.lua:259 action
	At /engine/dialogs/ShowInventory.lua:44 use
	At /engine/dialogs/ShowInventory.lua:34 fct
	At /engine/Mouse.lua:18

also I am confused about arcane power: does it increase 5 spell power each level? or 5 at lvl 5 (1 per level)?

probably make the description say how much spell power you get at that level rather than what it says now.

Windows XP comments...

When Resting the Resting message does not appear.
I had items appearing sometimes with very fancy graphics, but most often as white squares. Iron Mail Armour was the most frequent.

When running it misses out squares when drawing the screen.

Occasionally the mapped corridor and room area would go white. The only option is to save and restart.

[EDIT]When trying to 'U' a scroll that is not identified, I sometimes get no result (that's OK!), but it does not decrement the number of scrolls I have (not OK).

Looking at Leather armour... again!

The requirement that Rogues in order to use Stealth have to be in Leather armour or less is fine. But it makes them very vulnerable.

Why not have, as a real prize for Rogues, Oiled Mail Armour which does not stop the use of Stealth? I do not believe we should go as far as Oiled Plate...

maybe thats because the scroll is buggy (enemies detection/recall)

running also tends to freak out going around more than one turn.

running when something breaks it (ie, have something break it (monster visible/object in the way/something interesting), then try running again) will say that you ran one turn, when the turn count remains the same.

hehehe, why not have a merchant/person in town who will help you put on plate mails, so even if you dont have the skills you can wear them :P then make them have a penalty for mages and stealth mastery.

actually heavy and massive armours having a stealth mastery penalty does sound good.
