For future reference, for any character that has access to the Combat Techniques tree, rather than maxing out Combat Accuracy you can get more bang for your buck if you put 2-3 points into CA and 2-3 points into Perfect Strike. You're almost certainly leveling Rush anyway so it's a simple 1-pt tax into Precise Strikes to get to it. 2 points of Accuracy gives you 34 Acc which is plenty to hit most enemies when combined with normal acc bonuses found on gear, and when you have trouble hitting something you can pop Perfect Strike for a whopping +85 Acc on top of that as well as negating dodge chance from invisibility - and that's only at level 3, if you for some reason decide to max out Perfect Strike that's an additional +118 accuracy for 5 turns which is wildly overkill for most things excluding like, Dreadmasters.

If you're playing a class that naturally wants to stack Dex, you can get away with even less than that, although I typically put about 3 points into CA no matter who I'm playing unless I'm using mindstars or else literally never expect to melee attack a single enemy.

You can also find Perfect Strike as a rare affix on some pickaxes as well and sidestep the strategic decision entirely.

Of course there's also something to be said for just stacking the most ridiculously massive pile of Acc you can in order to always hit everything and make good use of the different weapon types' Acc bonuses (read the weapon stats for that, you get scaling benefits for each point of Acc you roll over your opponent's Defense iirc) but those cap out eventually and that's pretty build dependent and situational.
Let slip the toast of war.
