Currently, setting an inscription to auto-use specifies that it will only work when you have no saturation effect (runic or infusion, whatever is relevant), and it does work this way. For instance, if I have a Shielding Rune set to auto-use when an enemy is visible, it will activate the first time but it won't activate again when it comes off cooldown if I still have runic saturation.
I can think of very few situations where I wouldn't want these auto-use inscriptions to keep activating regardless of saturation. There's also the cognitive dissonance of having to micromanage something halfway through combat when previously it was handled through auto-use. I recommend changing the auto-use to just work regardless of saturation. If there's a significant number of players that want to keep the current behavior, then please add a setting for auto-use to ignore saturation.
