Fiction: Spiders with psionic powers using their webs to enhance their powers, either as external brains or as focusing antenna to magnify and/or transmit their powers or as reception antenna to passively perceive more of their environment and actively learn weaknesses of their foes, even hear thoughts, steal spells, talents, skills, etc. Webs are also handy for catching food and facilitating movement while hindering others. And, failing all else, spiders can eat their webs to recycle and replenish.

Oh, psider shamanic healer that heals the crippled player and possibly (percent chance) gives them psionic powers as part of a quest similar to Ukllmswwik the Wise (dragon) vs Slasul (naga) quest. I also suggest quests where there are more than two conflicting sides to aide. An example in modern times: Save the whales, feed the people, healthy environment/sustainability, immediate gratification/harvest resources/become independently wealthy or even richer, Pinkie and the Brain megalomania/take over the world, research/exploration, do no harm/Jainism, completely oblivious/sheeple, logical/rational/I live in the real world. So many choices. Could you choose more than one?
