Looking for Dragonball T

#1 Post by LordBucket »

Hello, everyone.

Does anyone have a copy of DBT more recent than V.91? The old modules site is gone and my archived copy was lost due to hard drive issues.

Thanks.

I got a version on my computer, dunno if this is the last one :/

Also, ToME is going out of beta in the hours/days to come; gonna make DBT again ? ;)
[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

That appears to be version .57 from 2006. That's pretty much ancient.

Does anyone have anything more recent? So far the most recent version that anyone's turned up is missing about the last 5 months of development time. What happened to the files that were on the old modules.t-o-m-e.net site? I would think those would all still exist somewhere even if the site was taken down.

Probably not. With apologies, I was burned pretty badly working on T3. I spent years working on T3 modules, writing manuals for other module makers, working on the wiki, providing bug reports and feedback, and for a while you guys had me working on the official module itself. Then after all that...you abandoned the engine. Doesn't really encourage me to want to be involved with T4.

Checking it just now, web archive only has three snapshots containing pages for two different DBT releases, neither of which are the final version, and neither of those files is even available for download. Only the HTML is archived, not the modules themselves.

Surely someone has a copy?

I've also been looking. Sadly, I've re-imaged many PCs since playing this game.

Bucket, if you find something recent, please send me a message.

The most recent version I have is 0.8.3.

Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/byk5lpr0wuwir ... 3.rar?dl=0
Mediafire: https://www.mediafire.com/?v9ff22wygxj0g2y

EDIT: I just realized that 0.9.1 and how to play it is linked over here: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.ph ... msg3907088 Just re-linking it here.

And since I tested it on my computer (Windows 10) and it works fine, I'll paste here a setup for playing Dragonball T 0.9.1:

Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1wvxncnost80m ... n.zip?dl=0
Mediafire: https://www.mediafire.com/?2l279w6tb7fqad9

Unfortunate that there are no versions newer than 0.9.1 available anymore, but what can you do?
