Impossible boss?

#1 Post by Majestix »

I have come up against a boss in the farportal who has 107% resist all, all specific resists are at 100%, except for "resistance unnatural: 8%". What on earth do I do with this creature? Should I just break my farportal and get the hell out of there?

What kind of enemy is it? Does it have any minions around it? Certain types of enemies have >100% resist all until you kill their minions.

It's a headless horror (class horror/eldritch). I can see a few Eldritch eyes in the vicinity. Could they be the minions? I am looking at the situation from across a wall, using a wand.

Ah, yes. I believe for that mob type, you need to kill the eyes before you can kill the boss.

That makes more sense - thanks! Does he respawn them?

Thanks, guys. In that case, I will make some nice clear space around him to have somewhere to teleport to, and then will take him on. Will let you know how it goes.

He turned out much easier than I had expected, once the eyes were gone. He had a ridiculous number of talents at his disposal, and I was ready to disengage at the first sign of trouble, but he wandered around more or less aimlessly, while I was pounding him with everything I had. Thanks again for the tip regarding the minions!
