Blood of Life not working on Skeleton with Reassemble 5/5

At least I suppose that was the reason - I died to Atamathon on my Skeleton Brawler Knuckles II, reassembled, killed him, went to Angolwen and died fighting the High Mage. I had consumed a blood of life around level 40, but I did not get the option to use it.

I also show up as lvl 39 online even though I was online when I won as well as when I killed Atamathon, which is kind of annoying, considering I wanted to link the character for my guide, but I guess that is just bad luck or bad internet connection (mine does suck, unfortunately).

Though it might make sense if it let's you turn yourself from a lich into your former race. Hell, even let you turn from a ghoul or skeleton into a living race of your choice.
