Her is the common one used when doing descriptions in fantasy settings

erm.. i'd hate to tell you but it's only in tome. some class descriptions refer to the player as "her", which is unique only to our game lol.darkgod wrote:Her is the common one used when doing descriptions in fantasy settings
Re: Announcing: Ashes of Urh'Rok
That's far from true. Have you never played Dungeons & Dragons? Pretty much the largest fantasy franchise ever refers to the races / classes as she / her probably half of the time, maybe even more.Suslik wrote:erm.. i'd hate to tell you but it's only in tome. some class descriptions refer to the player as "her", which is unique only to our game lol.darkgod wrote:Her is the common one used when doing descriptions in fantasy settings

The player is always a her to DarkGod.
Probably a red head too.

My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

Yeah so .... are we talking about another week, or month or what? Kind of cruel of you darkgod, announcing DLCs and then not telling when... It's like spiking a junkie with a needle and then saying "I'll let let you plunge down...soon." Just evil!

Re: Announcing: Ashes of Urh'Rok
think it'll be soon just yesterday he uploaded some code to tomes git that lets you combine addons into packs so its a reasonable assumption that's needed for the dlc.
so I think at this point he's mostly done and just prepping for release of the dlc and the engine update needed to run it.

D&D uses set example characters of either sex. I think they actively try to do 50/50.Sradac wrote:That's far from true. Have you never played Dungeons & Dragons? Re: Announcing: Ashes of Urh'Rok
okay asked DarkGod iirc if ashes would need the addon pack thing and he said yes so
its confirmed that ashes will come out with or after the next version of tome
have nothing to prove that but here's the git address so you can stalk it for updates
