If i purchase the game thru steam will i lose all the "unlockables" my account has opened up?

No, you can link your te4.org account with your Steam account, and copy all your achievements/unlocks to it. (I did this when I moved to using the Steam version)

You do so on the main site, logging in to your main account and using the "Sign in through Steam" button, if I remember correctly.
