No idea what class to play!
I have no idea what class to play! I have beat the game with bulwark and oozemancer! Trying to play a ghoul solipsist but it is hard and boring so trying to find something else! I want to win the game with either a rogue, shadowblade, marauder, arcane blade, wyrmic, or anorithil! I just have bad luck with those classes! I start doing well then fight a random then and just get 1 shotted before im even lv 10! Or lv 15 and died 3 times in a few sec! What should I try? I dont want to play an easy class because I want to play fun and not super annoying like ghoul solipsist!

Hit "Random".
Play whatever you get.

Re: No idea what class to play!
Personally I would have to ask how you specifically died - did you constantly die, resurrect, and go back to the same fight to die again thee times over? Ask yourself if you could have done something differently to level your character.
The classes you listed can all be hard at first but if you play them carefully you should be able to get through all the 1st and 2nd tier dungeons without too much hassle - I'll note that on my Higher Anorithil I only died several times in these dungeons due to total carelessly on my part (with the exception of my first death).
For the most part though, my only suggestion is perhaps to try the classes again - maybe focus on just one, and try to develop some strategies to get through the Early Game with one of two of the classes.

Re: No idea what class to play!
Well those are the classes I do keep going back to! Marauder, Anorithil, Wyrmic, and Arcane Blade are the classes I have tried to play! My Anorithil was doing well til the maze! I have a path I do so I dont go into places without all my people being the right lv! I dont go into the maze til about 12 or 13! But in the maze I walk through the rest of it but me and the boss were trading hit! He got me low! I healed then he 1 shotted me! So I went back thinking it was a fluke! He did it again! So I went back teleported away and went into 4 monster who railed me! But that stuff happens! Play a brawler doing fine til I ran into a minoutar that tanked the hell out of me! So I fought til I died and deleted him! But I just dont have luck with those classes! My last Wyrmic was doing well but the game bugged out so I deleted him! I do want to win with an Anorithil badly but start doing well but all of a sudden the monster get much harder than I can handle!
Re: No idea what class to play!
Fun? Paradox Mage. Sure, you'll still get one-shotted, but they're tons of fun.
And, blarpaen, can you not use exclamation points after every sentence? It kind of looks like your yelling everything.

Re: No idea what class to play!
If you want the win then I suggest trying the Anorithil again. What Races are you using with the class btw, and what talents are you aiming for initially?
I'll note that I felt that when I was playing the Anorithil that I probably had picked up all talents which I probably should have picked up later on in my game. Any Amount of Mind Blast, 1 point in Barrier, and 1 point in Twilight Surge are all some noted stuff that I wish I had got around to picking up earlier on my current run. I'm only looking into Glyphs and Circles now far into the later game concerning the Orc Prides, and already I'm noting they are quite powerful too (can pick those up quite earlier).

Re: No idea what class to play!
Main thing to note about the Anorithil is that it resembles a Jack of All Trade, Master of None approach to things; in addition to being a class that is sort of in the middle of the classes that would do heavy burst damage (Rogues) or one that would just keep going, and going, and going (Bulwark).
Generally everything has some interesting quirk about it but you need to mix and max talents to get the most out of the class - ie, hit them with a combination of Status Ailments and Damage while knowing when to how Heal or Shield your character; breaking battle to either run away to re-position yourself or to just abandon the battle entirely of course as any other class would need to do as well.
I wouldn't say you need Mind Blast but if you don't get it then you need to get Starfall, Sun Flare, Circles, Glyphs, or some Offensive Runes/Infusions to make up the difference from the loss of the Confusion Status Ailment you would inflict.

Re: No idea what class to play!
Yeah that is kind of how I play but I keep getting unlucky! Im going to go play one and keep trying til I get something!
Re: No idea what class to play!
I find all of those classes to be pretty fun. (With the possible exception of later game arcane blade, for some reason). Anorithil certainly has the benefit of good survivability. How to survive with them really kinda depends on what challenge you're facing at the moment. Some thoughts:
- Try pumping con after magic. That will help you against one-shots. It's better to live than do a little more damage.
- As with most mages, don't let enemies close with Anorithil. This is particularly true of the Maze's demonic alternate boss. That thing can tear you apart in melee. Mind Blast can help with that.
- Might just be me, but I find teleportation to be pretty risky. Movement infusions often seem to provide better survivability. Though not always - I'd hate to face the Master without teleportation for instance, due to the risk of being blocked in by minions.

Re: No idea what class to play!
well with Anorithil before that I have tanked most bosses and done fun! I was doing fine with him until he decided he was going to 1 shot me twice! But I like a movement and a teleport! The teleport is the o crap button everything went wrong and it is the only skill not on cd!
Re: No idea what class to play!
Well, things work until they don't. Had a recent corruptor who got to the prides (on nightmare) using a wild infusion rather than full stun resistance. Then realized why I needed the latter

Yeah stun res is awesome! Right now I just in a slump! I look at the classes pick a random combo! Try it die in the first few level then give up!
