Decided to try playing an anorithil for a change, and got (almost) literally nowhere. Managed to find the fens on my second try - I didn't expect it to be in town, and got eaten by some wandering orcs. (Why do they start in town anyway?) But having done the three levels of it and not even found a boss, I'm lost for where to go next. The underwater cave fits the opening description of "over the mountains", but is pretty brutal at level 3. As are the cave and the crypt. And I can't get anywhere further away without bumping into orcs.
Surely I'm missing something really obvious, but what? Neither I nor auto-explore can find another dungeon, and no one in the Gates of Morning will talk to me. Please help me feel less stupid.

Re: Celestial start
Find the portal on the third level of their starting dungeon. Auto-explore won't take you to it.
<mex> have you heard the good word about archmage?
<mex> I'm here to tell you about your lord and savior shalore archmage
<mex> have you repented your bulwark sins yet?

Re: Celestial start
Thank you; with those words of encouragement I was eventually able to find it. In my defence, a dark blue ampersand on a dark blue background isn't the most obvious of dungeon features, particularly when you don't know you're looking for it.

Re: Celestial start
You should post a bug report. If it's that hard to see, it's probably because most people play tiles, so it's been overlooked.
Re: Celestial start
I think the portal should really have autoexplore to path to it, even running tiles I've had problems before where I've skipped over it by accident and it's taken ages to find again.
