Stone Warden Problem

I don't seem to be able to use my Elemental Split ability any more. Which I can only imagine is due to the fact that the icons for them is still up by my own. The one in the top leftish area that is. No amount of waiting causes it to work, the talent is simply listed under 'unavailable' even though I have 5 points in it.

I still haven't managed to get it to work even after leveling and the icons for my elementals are still present up top despite them having been gone for ages now. This is kind of painful given I rely on the talent to help me kill bosses by pulling aggro while I flee or if the boss is almost dead finishing it off.
