Flurry Adventurer

#1 Post by Elroniel »

I searched through a few old posts that brought up the somewhat broken nature of combining the Arcane Combat and Reaving combat tree with a few more that varied to form an adventurer abusing the spell and melee attack procs from those two trees. (And obviously the tree with Flurry, Dual Weapon Techniques, maybe?)

My question, is what other trees, races, and equipment set ups work best for this? I've tried a few things, but seem to have trouble with stats being too spread out. In addition to just what I felt was a personal lack of focus.

Ideas?

I totally misread this as furry adventurer.... I would suggest grabbing flexible combat and of course psifighting and battle tactics. There are plenty examples of how broken this can get.

Heheh, would need some were-shifting mechanics for the "furry" bit :P

I definitely think Flexible Combat is a no-brainer, and Psi Fighting + Battle Tactics works well too, obviously. I think the biggest hang up (and maybe it's just a early game issue) is getting stats to balance enough. I'm thinking of grabbing that TW tree for Strength of purpose and then maybe going Skele for their racial to possibly bypass str.

As a note, you can't actually get arcane combat to chain into reaving combat anymore.

Not that the build is bad anyways.

Oh, guess that's what I get for checking out old posts, heh.

I think Dissolve works even better than flurry.
