Text over characters heads during combat

#1 Post by steakbbq »

The green text that pops up over my head and enemeis heads, i think it says things like +offbalance pop up and go away WAY too fast to read, they also stack on one another...

Is there a way to fix this? I can imagine this is how it was supposed to be considering you cant even read it..

Anyone know how to fix it?

You can't change it right now, but the next game version will include an option to set how long these messages last.

I could be wrong but why I don't see them in the log? Seems like a bug. A cooldown won't help in all cases because a message will disapear because a new one is triggered by the next action, have them in log is almost required and the cooldown a good plus.

Not keen on having more than one page of combat log per turn...

Those messages come from states changes because of environment, it's quite rare during combats. But perhaps that should be an option in logs, for those that don't want those messages in logs.

For me the combats logs are far to be verbose, there's more a lack of information. Anyway it's a log that you don't check if you don't want details.
