The Dwarven special ability, "Find secret passages," will carry you onto a trapped space without setting off the trap. Needless to say this is extremely useful.
(This ability also lets you "teleport" through walls even when the space-time continuum is frozen.)

Landing on traps without setting them off is true for both Probability Travel (which AFAIK does exactly the same thing as "find secret passages") and Death Mold blinking. Maybe regular blinking and teleportation do this also?
Blinking and teleportation check to make sure there is no object or monster on the space.
PT checks to make sure that there is not a monster there, but will allow you to land on objects.
All of them check to see if the space is inside a vault, but if the vault floor has been destroyed (Shake, ? of Destruction, earthquake) then this is not true any more.
