I put defeat epoch in there mostly for the chance of getting the bow, but I also seem to think that monsters seem more ready to kill you if you've spent some time trying to kill them instead... but then I've got lots of weird ideas like that. heh.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

Any chance someone could upload an updated allow_build file? The latest one i downloaded included some classes/races i dont believe exist any more (stone warden, and construct golem??) and is missing the marauder unlock. I tried playing around with the file myself but couldnt seem to get it to work.

I've really been enjoying TOME, but have gotten frustrated with unlocks. I'm not very good, but would still like to at least have the option to try out some of the more advanced classes if I want to. I've been playing on exploration mode solely so I can unlock stuff, and honestly, it's not fun, and not how this game should be played, so I'd rather just get these unlocks out of the way, and go back to enjoying the game the way i like to.

Hey guys,

This is like the first time I have ever bothered to write on a forum.

I was thrilled to see the allow_build files - I've unlocked so much in this game (including some of the hard ones) but now I'm pretty stuck and want to try out some of the new classes as truthfully I've had my fill of unlocking and it seems I am never trying to play the game except to build up my fire/ice damage or try to reach 600 dmg with a rogue.

Unfortunately the allow_build files don't work for me - I'm just copying the new file over the previous file in the t-engine folder.

For some reason, however, I have exactly all the same unlocks as before.

Is there something else I need to do?

No luck using the allow build file above here either. On Version 41, or even when downloading version 38 or 39. I'd just love to get the necro unlocked. Even tried popping it open with a text editor to manually add in the necro unlock line, but nope. Birth option's still locked for me. Last one that's locked too.

if you really want the necro you have to go to the lore file and add
"lore["necromancer-primer-x"] = true"
x is 1,2,3 and 4
than you modify the allow build files

No need now. Comically, Cosmically, my luck changed 20 minutes after I made the post. Finally unlocked the necro the regular way.

Figures, but hey, that's 23/24 unlocks done!

Get to level 20 with any character. There is a chance (its random) that you will get a message about a volcano, this unlocks a new area that you can unlock the solipsist in, otherwise start another character and try again.

Get up to around level 25-30 with your character before attempting it, as the area has some higher level monsters.

On the second level, experience both dreams by letting the 60 turn timer run out and touching the orb on the other side of the map, and you will unlock the class.

It's a 30% chance, unless you're a yeek - then it is guaranteed. If you want to get that fast, rolling a yeek (summoner, perhaps?) would be a good way to do it.

It's probably safer to experience the dreams by just waiting for the timer to run out repeatedly. You will get both dreams eventually.

So, how about post new allow_build.profile, those open 32 birth options ? =) Copy paste from "unlocks_list" opens only 31 =(.
