[1.7.6] Temporal warden initial quest is buggy

I play 1.7.6 on Linux. I start a temporal warden character, accept the initial quest, kill the weaver queen and the temporal defiler. The quest is finished and I get the next one, but enemies are still arriving from the edge of the screen and I still have the extra HP that I got to fight the temporal defiler. So, as usual after battles, I start to rest. Time flies while I slowly heal, then the game crashes. I restart, I'm at the same area with the quest active, I don't have the new quest yet, but the temporal defiler is nowhere.

I tried two times and I got the same result. I'm not sure whether the attack not ending with the defeat of the temporal defiler is OK, but I'd guess it's a bug too, but the defiler not appearing when I restart after the quest is definitely a bug.

After killing the Temporal Defiler the fight should fully end, so the endless spawns, extra HP sticking around, the crash on rest, and then the defiler missing after reload all point to a broken quest state in 1.7.6 on Linux. Avoid resting right after the fight if you can, but this should really be reported with a save file.
