Every other turn get popup 'Fuse with which staff?'

I'm in the infinite dungeon with my necromancer: https://te4.org/characters/120971/tome/ ... a428e6c358

I'm getting a popup every other turn making the character unplayable - the popup asks 'Fuse with which staff' and then shows an empty inventory screen (I even threw a staff in there to see if I could fuse with a staff - no dice).

Initially I thought maybe it was one of the gems bugging (Crystal Focus, Telos's Staff Crystal), so dropped them - no luck.

Any suggestions?

Issue has been resolved: enemy had the Telos staff crystal, and kept trying to activate it. Once killed or level swapped the issue no longer appeared
