I'm playing as a ghoul necromancer. I met an enemy in the Maze that apparently wielded the Light of Revelation. Occasionally I'd get one of those messages about one of my minions becoming revealed as a horror. So then I'd have a horror minion. The minion would still belong to me in some sense, but it would be affiliated with the horrors' faction, not with my faction. So it would attack me like a normal enemy rather than serving me, and I'd destroy it.
But some destroyed horrors (probably all of them, I suppose?) have remained in my minions list at the top of the screen. I can't command these dead horror minions, which makes sense since they are both hostile and dead, but I also can't remove them from the list. I left the Maze and returned, and they remained present in the list. This doesn't seem to do much harm; it's just extra UI clutter so far. But it's obviously incorrect.
I now carry the Light of Revelation myself (having won it from the enemy), though I'm not wielding it. I think this has no connection to the bug; I dropped the item in the Maze, left the Maze again, and returned, but nothing different happened.

...Actually, I think that not all the transformed minions did stay in the minions list. I seem to remember that one became a fearful symmetry and may have summoned some further horrors itself... is that something that entity can do? And I think I saw some devourers in the crowd. But my minions list only contains two bloated horrors, two netherworm masses, and a blade horror. I guess this probably doesn't matter that much, but maybe part of the bug was activated via the summoning of horrors by a revealed horror? Or maybe the revelation of a horror minion is enough to cause this glitch by itself.

for what it's worth, you can clear your party list of all non-existent members by entering the remarkable cave through the farportal in reknor; this'll make them all "spawn" next to you on the map, after which you can delete them by walking onto their tiles, and possibly killing them before that

The fearful symmetry has a make_escort that summons 2 eldritch horror-type enemies near to it when it's created. Additionally, the fearful symmetry has the talent Hideous Visions, which gives its Dark Whispers talent a chance to spawn hallucinations. These hallucinations are classified as horrors too.

Good, that's something to look forward to. Supposing I can survive Dreadfell I mean - and if I don't then, oh well, my horror babies can meet me again in the afterlife and spend all the time with me they'd like.
