[1.7.2] Stuck in orc ambush after dying in fearscape

I saw there were other reports about getting stuck in the orc ambush after dreadfell, but not one specifically involving fearscape.
I fearscaped the boss (uruk?) and died in fearscape. He took the staff and I came to, with my vim running out soon after and fearscape ending. I finished off the adds in the ambush map, but there was no exit (a mod was kind enough to teleport me out). I didn't think to check if stairs spawned in fearscape, as this was my first time in the ambush and didn't know what to expect.
