The tooltip implies that it should rez worn seeds. "Each time you kill a creature a random worn demon seed with less than 100%% life will be healed for %d%% life and resurrected if it was dead and the target was an elite or more."
However in practice, worn seeds are NEVER rezed, but any dead seed in inventory is rezed. I actually noticed because I had 3 dead demon seeds equipped for several levels(on insane so elite+ mobs are legion) and so I decided to check if it worked at all by unequipping all seeds but one dead, thinking maybe it selects heals in priority(and since demons always take some random dmg when summoned, there's always healing). It did not work and at first I was making a post about this being broken, but then upon progressing a bit more to finish the dungeon first, I noticed that one of the dead seeds I had unequipped for the test was in fact rezed. Scrolling up I found the log saying it was rezed, so I verified by unequipping another dead this time while also keeping other seeds, and you can indeed get both the heal on a worn seed and the rez on an unequipped seed, but equipped/worn seeds cannot rez at all. If it's intended then the tooltip probably should be separated in 2 sentences.

Not fixed. Playing a demonologist right now, and it's still broken.

There has been no patch since the fix so it wouldn't be in the game yet.
