Some talents seem to apply darkness damage weirdly, by making it so the monster applies it to himself instead of you to them, which in turn means it doesn't proc Dark Reign.
Two example, the Drem Black Blood skill won't proc Dark Reign, not does the darkness/fire retaliation from the Blood Shield seed.
Maybe it's meant to be that way so retaliation damage can never proc things and stuff that's kinda like retaliation(black blood drem racial) also uses the same mechanics? It'd make sense balance wise somewhat I guess just not sure if it's intended.
Edit: Testing with proper retaliation gear it also does that, so I assume it's just intended that way to prevent easy procs and such, guess I'll leave this here anyway in case someone wants to make Drem Demo just for black blood(it's still very good for frenzy anyway). I THINK the ground darkness stuff from dark reign's tree doesn't proc it either and this one I feel should maybe since it's category synergy but eh it procs enough with the 2 darkness conversion skills so not a big deal.

DoTs, ground effects, and retaliation don't trigger it and this should be made more clear. The same kind of logic also applies to on spell hit procs (which also has other weirdness). I think it would be quite strong if it did prox from those sources though.
I ran a Demo and used the Pendant of Sun and Moon along with the Lunar Shield to be able to get a stack pretty much every turn and it got pretty ridiculous. I did also have over 200% healmod, but I could stand in high peak completely surrounded by enemies and basically take no net damage between that and osmosis shield, barring getting one shot or something like healing nexus.

Yeah that's what I figured, and it wasn't really a problem to stack it with the 3rd skill and the Bleak Outcome invis conversion, then I got Duadethdlen Heart anyway so I was procing it on every attack. I left the post up in case someone google it and finds this about black blood not working with it and such. It is absurdly strong even without that anyway.
